The Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Tibidabo)
The Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, at the top of Tibidabo, was built between 1902 and 1961, under the direction of the Barcelona architect Enric Sagnier.
In addition to the small chapel built on the highest point of the mountain, the temple has a crypt Neo-Byzantine style, with close to modernism decor, and a neo-Gothic Basilica topped by a majestic bronze statue of the Sacred Heart.
From its terraces open to the four winds, you can enjoy privileged views of Barcelona and a remarkable extension of Catalonia.
